Would you like a hand spinning workshop?
I demonstrate and teach spinning with a Turkish Drop Spindle (recommend group size of no more than twelve) and/or a Russian Supported Spindle (recommend for smaller groups of up to four).Would you like me to give a talk?
I speak about my research in non-academic settings such as Knit & Natter groups, museums, and guild gatherings. This can focus on making and wellbeing, amateur handcraft, stitching in feminist magazines, Scottish yarn or my work in archives.
